Please note the following:
Thursday, August 19th, 2010, the parade will leave the Dundas Driving
Park at 6:45 p.m. and travel through town, disbanding at the Market
Street Arena.
Please arrive at the park no later than 5:00 p.m.
To ensure the safety of ALL, free handouts, candy, etc. must be
HANDED OUT at the curbside and not thrown from moving vehicles.
Please avoid people climbing in & out of a moving vehicle to distribute
items.
ALL horse entries are responsible for their "OWN CLEANUP
THROUGHOUT THE PARADE".
PLEASE NOTE: Entries must be aware of the need to clear the wires
along the route.
GROUPS are asked to keep the number of their participants to 50 or less for the safety
of all both at the Driving Park and at the end of the parade. Arrangements for pick up
after the parade must be clear to all participants and their parents prior to parade start and
each group must register the name & number of a contact person responsible for their
group. We strongly recommend car pooling as there is lots of parking available on the south side of Mill St.
Please advise any lost child to report to the emergency station at thecorner of Creighton Road/Market St.
Please prepare a large sign or banner with the name of your Business or Organization, so
that you can be identified to the thousands of people watching the parade.

NOTE: The judging will again take place DURING the parade from 42 Cross Street.
This will enable judges to get a better overview of each individual entry. Our theme for
this 35th Anniversary is“Memories 35”.
As in the past, all paid entries do not qualify for judging.
To be included in the 2010 Parade complete the entry form and email it to parade@dundscatusparade.com or fax it to 905 628-1268 or mail it to 42 Cross St. Dundas L9H2R7 … no later than Friday July 16th, 2010.
During the first week of August, you will receive a second letter that will give you your
marshaling number and the rest of the parade information that you will need.
