Fundraising for the Parade

The on-going success of the Dundas Cactus Festival Parade depends on the generosity of people and organizations who give tirelessly of their time to help organize and run the event and those who provide sponsorships and donations of money to provide the funding of the wonderful bands and entertainment, each year.

We are most grateful for every contribution and would like to thank those who participate and contribute through our fundraising efforts, throughout the year.

"Toonies for Tunes" was instituted as a collection of volunteered donations on Parade Day. These toonies go directly to cover the cost of bands for the parade.

Team Scotia Bank joins the Toonie Collectors this year and WILL MATCH THE FUNDS COLLECTED on parade night.... so please give generously!

 

 

Cactus Festival Beach Party began many years ago as a fundraiser and quickly became an annual event. This year, it will be held on January 26th, 2008 *** at the Dundas Lion's Community Centre (King and Market Sts. in Dundas). Come and dance to the Oldies, enjoy the silent auction, eat and have fun! Don't forget the beach attire so you can enter the contest for the "BEST DRESSED BEACH GET-UP" Bring your friends and have a great time!

***We regret that, due to circumstances beyond our control, it has been necessary to cancel this year's Beach Party. See you next year!

Tickets are $10.00 in advance. It's best to buy ahead as they do go quickly!

BABYSITTING IS AVAILABLE...

Note that there will be babysitting available for parents who require it. Babysitting services are being offered at the Dundas School of Dance (905-627-4784). An adult supervisor and a group of the teenage dancers from the Competition Team will provide a full evening of activities, crafts and snacks.
